Helen Kaminski presents a collection of tactile accessories for Autumn Winter 2014/15. 1940’s Hollywood film noir references and style notes from the cool elegance of smoky 1920’s jazz bars imbue the collection with a tinge of intrigue, redolent of the dangerously glamorous underside of society of this era, while the contemporary influence of design icon Zaha Hadid, Middle Eastern architect and creative force, is revealed through innovative design and contemporary aesthetic.
Helen Kaminski Autumn Winter 2014/15 campaign embodies a contemporary yet moody aesthetic. The Pacific Ocean swell impacting dramatic oversized boulders set the scene for a cinematic campaign of mystery, fashion and intrigue… The awe-inspiring scale of the natural formations of Whale Beach headland, north of Sydney, Australia, provide location and inspiration for the campaign.
Internationally renowned fashion photographer Nicole Bentley directs the campaign photographic shoot, with her signature editorial style. The entire production is infused with local Australia-New Zealand talent. Helen Kaminski features models Annabella Barber (Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Karen) and Vogue favourite Seon Hwang, and Kaminski XY stars New York based Australian talent James Gatenby, an international runway star chosen as the face of Louis Vuitton’s winter campaign.
