Helen Kaminski has extended the roll-out of its Global Retail Concept with the official launch of the brand’s Australian Flagship store at the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) Sydney. The store showcases the new-look retail concept and is an Australian first for the Sydney based brand, following the opening of two brands stores in Tokyo, Japan in March 2016.
Allison Bard, General Manager- Global Brand Director explains, “The new store concept is part of our global repositioning strategy and will serve as a benchmark for future retail development planned in Australia and other key markets.”
The Australian flagship- opened September 16th- juxtaposes heritage features with minimalist design allowing the quality and craftsmanship of the products to be appreciated in a welcoming gallery-like environment. The custom-crafted white washed herringbone oak floor softens the aesthetic and breathes the all-important relaxed lifestyle element into the shop floor.
Spearheading the brand’s retail concept design is Carys Elliott, Head of Global Marketing & Digital who maintains brand spaces must be welcoming and encourage interaction; “The gallery-like aesthetic of our retail concept highlights the natural materials and exceptional craftsmanship of our collections, ensuring our products- and the customer- are the focus of the retail space.”
The official launch party, held on Tuesday 18th October, was attended by media, influencers and brand partners.
