Online Ordering

How do I purchase something from the online store?

• Ensure you are on Helenkaminski.com.au

• Browse the categories across the top navigation menu which includes New In, Women’s and Men’s.

• Once you have found an item you would like to purchase, select the quantity, colour and size (if applicable) and click ‘Add to Bag’.

• You can view your shopping cart, located on the top right of the website and select ‘Checkout’ to finalize your purchase.

• You will be given the options to ‘Check out as Guest’, ‘Register’ or ‘Login’. Select the preferred option and click ‘Continue’.

• Fill in your personal details, select the preferred shipping method and proceed to payment.

• Review your final purchase and click ‘Continue’. Then your order is completed.

• Once your payment has been confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation to the email address provided.


What do I do if I’ve forgotten my password?

Please click on ‘Forgot Your Password’ and you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

 

Can I change/cancel my order once it has been placed?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to amend your order. Unfortunately, once the order has been shipped, we are unable to cancel or make any changes.

 

Is shopping online with Helen Kaminski secure?

With their combined energy, talent and enthusiasm the business was transformed into a year-round headwear brand, launching successfully into the USA in 1993, Japan in 1996 and Korea and Taiwan in 2001. In 2004, the company launched a year-round handbag collection, and in 2005 Kaminski XY, a headwear collection for men followed.

What is raffia?

Raffia is the young leaf of the Raffia Palm tree that grows naturally in the coastal valleys of the world’s fourth largest Island, Madagascar. Inherent flexibility, mild water resistance, and a beautiful natural lustre make the raffia fibre ideal for handcrafted accessories. All Helen Kaminski and Kaminski XY raffia designs are created from high quality ecologically harvested Madagascan raffia.

 

What is the difference between raffia and straw?

Raffia is far superior material than straw. The natural resin in raffia provides supple durability when raffia is braided, woven, or crocheted. This natural flexibility makes raffia hats and bags a traveller’s best companion, allowing styles to be rolled and refreshed, time and again. Straw, in contrast, is often brittle, rough, and less durable, and has a shorter product life.

 

How should I care for my raffia hat?

Can I send my order as a gift?

Helen Kaminski ecommerce orders come wrapped in a Helen Kaminski brown paper box, tied up with string. However, Helen Kaminski does not offer a custom wrapping service with hand written cards at present.

 

If the item I want is out of stock, will it come back in stock?

Helen Kaminski has a core product range of our best-selling styles- when these products are out of stock, they will be replaced. However, once seasonal fashion pieces are sold out they are less likely to be restocked. For specific enquiries please contact our customer service team at kaminski@helenkaminski.com

 

Does Helen Kaminski provide repair services?

If you have a much loved Helen Kaminski piece that needs expert attention, we offer an in-house assessment service. Please contact our customer service email with pictures of your item, and a description of the repair needed, and our in-house craftsman will assess whether a repair can be conducted to refresh and renew your favourite piece

Does Helen Kaminski provide spare parts?

Helen Kaminski will assess requests for ‘spare-parts’ on a case by case basis. Please email our customer service team at kaminski@helenkaminski.com

When will I receive my parcel?

Once an order is placed, we will strive to have your items processed and shipped within 24 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Delivery times are listed below and are to be used as a guide only.

How do I track my order?

Once your order as been shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number.

Do you offer international shipping?

Unfortunately, items purchased from helenkaminski.com.au can only be shipped to Australia and New Zealand.

How do I return an item I have ordered online?

Helen Kaminski Australia is committed to customer satisfaction. We accept returns on all products sold by helenkaminksi.com.au given the following conditions are met.

  • Item/s must be returned within 20 days of receipt.
  • Item/s are unworn, undamaged and in its original packaging with tags attached
  • Items are returned with the original invoice

For all returns and exchanges, please send the items to our warehouse with a filled out return form. You can download a return form here or fill out the form you have received with your order.

Can I return an item I have purchased from a stockist?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges for items that were not purchased at helenkaminski.com.au. If you have purchased your item/s from a stockist, we suggest to get in touch with them directly for their Returns Policy.  

 

I've returned an item, how long will it take before I receive my refund?

We will process your return upon receipt of the goods and issue your refund promptly. Please allow 3 – 7 working days for the refund to be processed back to your original method of payment.

 

I've made a return, will you refund my delivery charge?

Unfortunately return postage costs will be at your own expense, we cannot refund shipping charges unless the item is faulty.
